Excerpts from the article - "Miniature Golf Translates Well In Argentina"
As it has in the United States, miniature golf has been enjoying a resurgence in its popularity in other countries. Minigolf de Argentina has purchased four portable courses which they operate in resort area during the summer season and move indoors in the winter. According to Gerardo Mathov, one of the partners in the business, "At our first course called The Pinamar Mini-Golf Center, we counted 12,000 players during 50 days, an average of 240 players per day. Payback for our courses has been achieved in less than one year," he said.
Mathov found Mini Golf Inc. through the Internet as well as recommendations from other customers of the company. He and his partners are looking to expand to Chile, Uruguay and eventually Brazil, concentrating on resort areas and large cities in that country. They plan to continue their relationship with MGI, having found "permanent, professional support, customer service but before all friendship with company executives and staff," he said.
